Been saving up a long long time and a lump sum from a pension helped but we are off to Canada with an Alaska cruise and Rocky Mountaineer. First holiday since 2019 so we are hoping it's worth it!

Main holiday is Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and India.

Other trips include Shanghai for Easter, Ceuta (Spanish exclave in Morocco - went to Melilla last year so want to do both), Eurovision, a week in a villa in Spain, the Euros, driving round Slovenia, Athens, then Hamburg for Christmas markets. And Freiburg!

Already been to Zagreb, Nigeria, Benin, Togo, Ghana, Ivory Coast and Dublin. Out of AL for this year, already running short for next despite having 'bought' five days.

Re: 2024 Holidays
Luckily being a teacher and having 2 kids at school my holidays are extra expensive.

However being a clever cunt I found a superb all inclusive in gran canaria for £700 each including flights, car parking etc. Been there before so know it's good. It's why I've taken up "habla en espanol". They all speak English but I've always wanted to do.it now I've got the excuse.

April-May - me and the 2 girls flying in and out of Boston (3 nights)for 16 days...amtrak to NY (2 nights) then Amtrak to Washington DC (3 nights) ... pick up a car there and then onto Gettysburg with stay over at Harrisburg (1 night) then drive up to Canadian side of Niagra (2 nights)... then got 5 days to decide how we getting back to Boston... ideally fancy doing NH (Mt Washington) and a bit of Maine (Portland) doing the coast southwards.

Then June/July got a week booked with 8 of us (couples MATES )... done Portugal last year and Majorca in 2019 and now got a great all inclusive in Kos... out there for two of the England Euro games so hopefully decent atmosphere in Kos Town..

Drove down to Normandy last week with my two daughters for a week, stayed in a lovely house in the centre of Honfleur and ponced around Normandy bonjouring the peasants.

Probably go to Holland/Germany at Easter and then either south of france or (my choice) drive from Budapest down through Serbia into northern greece in the summer.

Was meant to visit Skiathos last year for the first time before my late mum fell ill, so it was changed to this July, can't wait.

Re: 2024 Holidays
zico - we did the Rocky Mountaineer a few years ago - a bit weird but worth doing, though I actually preferred driving around the Rockies. The scenery and wildlife are absolutely stunning.

Fancied a bit more scenery and wildlife this year so we're going to Mull and Iona in early June, before the midges get too bad.
